How Claru and the Minute app work together

The difference between the Claru dashboard and the Minute recording app, and how they sync.

Claru uses two connected tools. Understanding which does what prevents most account and payment confusion.

How the Minute app works

What is the Claru dashboard for?

Claru is your account and record-keeping side: available projects, approved hours, earnings, payment details, bonuses, referrals, and support. Claru always shows the most up-to-date approval status.

What is the Minute app for?

The Minute app is where you record and upload video. Once signed in, you select a recording task, record your video, and upload it directly through the app. After review, approved hours sync automatically back to your Claru dashboard.

Which email do I use for each?

This is the single most important thing to get right:

  • Claru: your own personal email, the one you signed up with

  • Minute app: since October 12, 2026, the personal email shown on your Claru project page. The old @supply.claru.ai address is no longer used to sign in.

Signing in with the email shown on your project page, with Claru selected as the organization, is what links your recordings to your Claru account so they can be paid. See Minute App (Recording App).

Why do the hours in Minute and Claru not match?

They measure different things. The Minute app shows the total hours you have uploaded. It does not show which videos have been approved, are still pending review, or were rejected.

Claru shows only approved hours and the earnings that follow from them. A gap between the two is normal and usually means videos are still waiting to be reviewed. See How video review works.

How long does syncing take?

Allow 2 to 3 business days between uploading in the Minute app and seeing approved hours appear in Claru. Hours that have not appeared yet have almost certainly not been rejected. They are queued for review.
