Eligibility & Participation
Who can participate?
To be eligible for this project, you must:
Live in an eligible Latin American country.
Have a qualifing smartphone and head mount.
Complete any required onboarding or qualification steps.
Follow all recording instructions provided in the project's Getting Started Guide.
Approved devices
Each project accepts a specific list of phone generations, shown in the Phone Requirements card on the project page. The rules work like this:
Each requirement names one exact phone generation
Tier variants of an accepted generation — Plus, Pro, Pro Max, Ultra and similar — are also accepted
Newer generations are not automatically accepted — there is no "this model or newer" rule, so a newer phone can still be ineligible
Only approved smartphones may be used for this project.
Required equipment
A head mount is required for all recordings.
The camera should be securely mounted on your head so it captures your point of view while keeping both hands visible throughout the recording.
Can I use a GoPro or action camera?
No. Only approved smartphones may be used for this project.
Can I record on multiple phones?
No. Please use the same approved device for all of your recordings whenever possible.
Can I record while traveling or use a VPN?
No. You must record from your actual country of residence.
Using a VPN, recording from an ineligible country, or attempting to bypass location restrictions may result in your recordings being rejected and your Claru account being permanently suspended.
Where can I find the full instructions?
The latest recording instructions, accepted activities, and project updates are available in the Getting Started Guide on the project's page.
Always follow the instructions shown there, as project requirements may change over time.
Minute App
Which email do I use with the Minute app?
Since October 12, 2026, sign in to the Minute app with the personal email and password shown on your Claru project page. The old @supply.claru.ai address is no longer used to sign in.
If you already had a Minute account with that email and no password appears on the project page, tap Forgot password in the Minute app. The reset link arrives in your personal email inbox. Then enter the Claru organization code shown on your project page and select Claru before you record.
Do not create a new Minute account yourself. Using a different account or organization may prevent your recordings from syncing correctly with Claru.
What happens if I recorded with the wrong account?
If you recorded with an account or organization other than the one shown on your Claru project page:
If you have fewer than 5 approved hours, we are unfortunately unable to transfer those recordings.
If you have 5 or more approved hours, write to us through the chat. Our team may be able to help synchronize your account.
I don't have any tasks available or I'm seeing a 403 error
This usually means one of the following:
Your account has been disabled.
Your device is not supported.
Your location does not meet the project's requirements.
If the problem continues, please write to us through the chat.
My account is disabled
First, confirm that:
You're using an approved device.
You're recording from your approved country.
If both are correct, please write to us through the chat so our team can investigate.
I received a "Failed to Create Upload" or Error 400
This usually means the task is no longer available or there was an upload issue.
Try selecting another available task. If the problem continues, write to us through the chat.
My phone is running out of storage
Please do not delete uploaded videos from the Minute app unless they have been approved.
Instead, try to free up space by deleting other photos, videos, or apps from your device.
Recording requirements
Your recordings must:
Be recorded in landscape orientation.
Be at least 2 minutes long.
From a head mounted smartphone
Show natural, everyday household activities.
Keep both hands visible for at least 95% of the recording.
Follow all instructions in the project's Getting Started Guide.
Additional recording requirements, accepted activities, and quality guidelines are available on the project page.
What kinds of activities should I record?
Record natural, everyday household activities from your point of view.
We strongly encourage contributors to record a wide variety of different household activities instead of repeating the same task over and over.
Video Reviews & Quality
How long does it take for videos to be reviewed?
After you upload a video, it goes through our review process to verify that it meets the project's quality requirements.
Videos are usually reviewed within 2 to 3 business days of being submitted.
Once a review is complete, your video will either be Approved or Rejected.
Why aren't my approved hours showing in Claru?
The Minute app and Claru display different information.
The Minute app shows the total hours you have uploaded, regardless of whether they have been reviewed.
Claru only shows approved hours after your videos have successfully completed the review process.
If some of your uploaded hours are not yet visible in Claru, they are most likely still waiting to be reviewed. This does not mean your recordings have been rejected.
When will my approved hours appear?
Once a video is approved, your approved hours will automatically sync to your Claru dashboard.
There may be a short delay between a video being reviewed and the approved hours appearing in Claru.
What does N/A or N/D mean?
N/A (or N/D) simply means your recording has not been reviewed yet.
It does not mean your recording has been rejected.
Why was my recording rejected?
Common reasons include:
Poor lighting or blurry footage.
Camera obstruction or excessive shaking.
Hands not visible while interacting with objects.
Unnatural or staged behavior.
Long periods of inactivity.
Excessive repetitive movements.
Recording while seated when the task requires movement.
Recording without the required permissions or consent.
Maintaining high-quality recordings helps ensure your work is approved and keeps your overall account quality in good standing.
My videos are showing as Pending
After you upload a video, it goes through a review process before it is approved or rejected.
Some videos may remain Pending for several days while our review partner completes additional quality checks. This is normal and does not mean there is an issue with your submission.
Please do not re-record or delete your videos simply because they are still Pending.
How do reviews affect payments?
Payments are based only on approved videos.
Weekly payments are processed every Tuesday using all videos that have been approved before that week's payment cutoff.
If your videos are approved after the cutoff, they will automatically be included in the following payment cycle.
Payments
Payments are processed every Tuesday for contributors who have reached the minimum payout of $50 USD.
