How long does it take for videos to be reviewed?
Videos are usually reviewed within 2 to 3 business days of being submitted.
However, because of the large number of contributors and the volume of footage being processed, some reviews may take longer. Additionally, videos are not always reviewed in chronological order. This means that newer videos may sometimes be reviewed and approved before older ones. However, all videos submitted will eventually be reviewed unless specific exceptions apply.
A video showing as Pending is still waiting to be reviewed and does not mean that it has been rejected.
Once a review is complete, your video will either be Approved or Rejected.
When will my approved hours appear?
Once a video is approved, your approved hours will automatically sync to your Claru dashboard. There may be a short delay between a video being reviewed and the approved hours appearing in Claru.
How do reviews affect payments?
Payments are based only on approved videos.
Weekly payments are processed every Tuesday using all videos that have been approved before that week's payment cutoff.
If your videos are approved after the cutoff, they will automatically be included in the following payment cycle.
Pending Videos
My videos are showing as Pending
After you upload a video, it goes through a review process before it is approved or rejected.
Some videos may remain Pending for several days while our review partner completes additional quality checks. This is normal and does not mean there is an issue with your submission.
Please do not re-record or delete your videos simply because they are still Pending.
Project Update (Last updated: August 4, 2026)
We know that some contributors are experiencing longer-than-usual review times, causing their videos to remain Pending for an extended period.
Our review partner is actively investigating the issue and working to resolve it as soon as possible.
Once reviews are complete, your approved hours will automatically appear on your Claru dashboard and be included in the corresponding payment cycle.
Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
I still have V1 clips showing as Pending or In Review
We are aware that some V1 recordings may still appear as Pending or In Review.
Possible reasons include:
The recording is less than 2 minutes long.
The recording requires additional review or reconciliation.
The recording did not sync correctly between systems.
Other legacy V1 review or syncing issues.
We are actively monitoring these remaining V1 recordings.
There is no need to contact support specifically for these videos at this time.
As soon as we have additional information about pending V1 reviews, we will provide an update through our official communication channels.
When should I contact support about a Pending V2 video?
Please do not write to us through the chat unless your video has been Pending for 10 days or more.
If your videos have been Pending for fewer than 10 days, they are still within the normal extended review window.
If a video has remained Pending for 10+ days, write to us through the chat and our team can investigate.
Please avoid opening multiple conversations about the same pending recordings, as this will not speed up the review process.
If you still need help after reading this, write to us through the chat and our team will review it.
