Why was my recording rejected?
Common reasons include:
Poor lighting or blurry footage.
Camera obstruction or excessive shaking.
Hands not visible while interacting with objects.
Unnatural or staged behavior.
Long periods of inactivity.
Excessive repetitive movements.
Recording while seated when the task requires movement.
Recording without the required permissions or consent.
Maintaining high-quality recordings helps ensure your work is approved and keeps your overall account quality in good standing.
Disabled or Banned Minute App Accounts
Why was my Minute App account disabled?
Account deactivations on the Minute app are decided by the Minute team. Claru does not make that decision, cannot reverse it, and often does not have access to the specific reason behind it.
Reasons that can lead the Minute team to deactivate an account include:
Non-egocentric footage — recordings do not follow the required first-person or POV format.
Incorrect mount — using a chest mount or another non-approved setup instead of the required head mount.
Three-Strike System — receiving three quality or compliance strikes may result in removal from the project.
VPN usage — using a VPN or attempting to bypass geographic restrictions.
Ineligible country or location — recording from a country that is not currently accepted for the project.
Repeated quality or instruction violations.
Compliance or fraud-related concerns, where applicable.
Recording upside-down or vertical videos
Obstructing the camera view
We cannot request a deactivation to be reviewed, and we cannot restore access to the Minute app.
If you have lost access, What happens if you lose access to the Minute app explains what it means for your balance and for videos that were pending review.
How does the Three-Strike Feedback System work?
Some contributors may receive strikes for serious or repeated quality or compliance issues.
If your account reaches three strikes, you may be removed from the project or have your recording access disabled.
Strikes may be related to issues such as repeatedly ignoring recording requirements, submitting non-compliant footage, or other serious quality concerns.
Please review any feedback you receive carefully and make the required changes to future recordings.
