What happens if you lose access to the Minute app

If you can no longer sign in to the Minute app, or the app tells you your account has been disabled, this article explains who makes that decision, what it means for your balance and your videos, and what our Support team can and cannot do.

Who decides

Account deactivations on the Minute app are handled by the Minute team, not by Claru. Claru does not make that decision and cannot reverse it.

Deactivations can follow from how recordings were made. The behaviors that affect account standing are listed in Video Quality & Rejections, including the three-strike system for quality feedback. Other causes include not following the recording requirements, using a VPN or recording from a location where the project is not available, and compliance or fraud issues.

What our Support team can do

We can look up your Claru account, check your balance and confirm what we see on our side. We will always do that.

What we cannot do is restore your access to the Minute app, ask for a deactivation to be reviewed, or get videos reviewed once an account has been deactivated. Writing to us several times does not change that, and we would rather tell you plainly than leave you waiting. We also do not have access to the specific reason behind a deactivation.

Your balance

If you lose access to the Minute app but your Claru account is still active, the balance you have already earned stays yours. It is paid the same way as always, once you reach the $50 minimum for a withdrawal.

Losing access to Minute does not erase money you have already earned.

Videos that were pending review

Videos that were still pending review when the account was deactivated will not be reviewed.

We know this is the hardest part to read. We prefer to say it clearly rather than let you wait for a review that is not coming.

Do not delete and recreate your Minute profile

If your videos are not appearing or are stuck in review, do not delete your Minute profile and create a new one.

Deleting the profile and signing up again breaks the link between your account and videos that were already pending review, and those videos stop moving. This applies even if you sign up again with the same email address.

If you have already done this, write to us and we will record your case, though we cannot restore the link.
